About

A couple of years ago, having worked solidly for over 30 years, I decided to resign from my job. I had been saving up for some travel but I also wanted to have a bit of a break from the madness of modern working life.

Most importantly, I wanted to give myself the time to write and further develop my creative side whilst trying to live my life in a more meaningful way.

I have always enjoyed writing and, as a child, I used to entertain my younger cousins with made-up stories. As I got older I continued writing and over the years I have written various pieces ranging from poetry, essays and short stories right up to a 60,000 word story that was saved on a floppy disk and subsequently lost during one of my many house moves – those of you under the age of 30 may have to google the term “floppy disk”.

Now I spend my time writing and connecting with people, finding inspiration everywhere I go.
